This project encompassed new construction for an expanded hotel lobby, lobby lounge and bar, atrium, convention assembly space, tower guest suites, spa, as well as exterior gardens, pools, and cabanas. Challenges of blending the existing structures with the new, while honoring tribal heritage, were met with an authentic design approach. Natural warm wood tones complement bold architectural forms, creating an elegant yet inviting environment. The expansion celebrates tradition and tribal heritage while integrating cutting-edge technology.

Most recently, Klai Juba Wald Architecture + Interiors completed the renovation of the Pechanga Grand Ballroom. The design team sought cohesion with Pechanga’s adjacent Summit Events Center, completed in 2018 as part of the resort’s $400 million expansion. Bold geometric patterns and vibrant colors pair with warm neutrals and refined finishes to honor the original design, achieving a harmonious balance of tradition and modern elegance.
