We are looking for a Project Architect with experience in producing architectural drawings focusing on Hospitality and mixed-use projects. The Project Architect will manage the day to day production of multiple projects and team operations.

 Candidates must have excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills and possess a strong desire to excel and lead in a fast paced, challenging and client-focused environment. Job Responsibilities:

• Document code review and compliance.
• Communicate and coordinate with management, clients, consultants, and contractors related to daily business operations.
• Ensure accurate preparation of project construction documents and communications with and coordination of the preparation  of documents with consultants, contractors, and team members.
• Visits with officials and clients as necessary.
• Review shop drawings, project submittals, etc. for document compliance.
• Ability to work well under pressure, juggle, and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or in an related field (construction or engineering).
• 5 Years of professional experience in Hospitality and mixed use or similar architectural projects required.
• Professional Architectural license preferred.
• Proven proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Power Point and other software programs.
• Ability to use AutoCad, Bluebeam and Revit.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior management, external client organizations and vendors.

 KJW A+I is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team of professionals in our Las Vegas office.  The Project Manager will manage the day to day production of Hospitality/mixed use projects to meet deadlines accurately.  The position will report to the Principals directly in charge and manage a team of senior and junior designers and production staff.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manages multiple projects and provide team leadership .
• Oversee the design of high-end hospitality projects.
• Manage communication with multiple clients on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing to ensure job success.
• Review and produce documentation, detailed instruction, drawings, and specifications.
• Interact with Accounting department to ensure billing milestones are met.
• Adheres to building codes and ADA compliance throughout project life cycle.
• Domestic travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Professional license in Architecture desirable.
• 5+ yeas of work experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing others.
• Technical proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Revit and SketchUp experience is desirable.
• Prior experience responding to submittals and requests for information (RFI’s).

• Oversees one or more projects from beginning to end, during the construction document phase.
• Oversees support staff on architectural specifications to ensure work is executed accurately, coordinated in a timely manner and utilizes resources effectively.
• Develop and establish the technical building details for the project including plans, sections, elevations, plan/section details, and schedules (wall/ceiling/roof types etc.) to meet the design intent.
• Accurately prepare and coordinate project construction document details and schedules using AutoCAD/Revit software
• Prepare and create plans that adhere to established office standards.
• Assist and provide input on code research.
• Review shop drawings and project submittals for document compliance.
• Process RFI’s and submittals using NewForma software.
• Manage and source materials/samples.
• Interface directly with the consultants, contractors, team members and architects.

Basic Qualifications:

         • A minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in architecture required.
         • Proficient with Bluebeam, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and other software programs.
